Position: Italian Social Security and Retirement Benefits Consultant
Tasks: Combine contributions history of assisted person in USA and Italy in accordance with the Convention between Italy And Usa to verify right to retirement benefits. Assist with clearing records, or request missing credits from agency in which the pensioner worked. Complete survivor’s pension application. Send Income Tax Verification to the Italian Social Security Office. Prepare Income Statements for income received from Italian Social Security. Assist with obtaining Italian Taxpayer Number.
Requires: Associate Degree in Legal Studies or Foreign Equivalent; Fluency in Italian; Demonstrable ability to: assist clients in cases concerning Italian social security benefits, meet with clients to assess eligibility, translate and interpret papers and documents written in the Italian language.
